Competing Through Knowledge and Leadership

The JROTC Academic Team provides cadets with the opportunity to compete in a nationally recognized academic competition that emphasizes leadership, citizenship, college readiness, and academic excellence.

The Academic Bowl challenges students in areas related to the ACT, SAT, current events, leadership, citizenship, and JROTC curriculum. Teams compete against Air Force JROTC programs from across the nation for the opportunity to advance to championship rounds and compete against Army, Navy, and Marine Corps JROTC programs.

Academic Excellence

National Championship Appearance

Our 2020–2021 Academic Team advanced to the National Championship Round, finishing among the Top 16 of more than 470 teams worldwide.

Their outstanding performance earned the team an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C. to compete against the nation's best JROTC academic teams.
